The Emergency Services Academy Finland is a specialist in civil defence training, preparedness training and international civil protection operations. The Emergency Services Academy has an excellent training area and other safety and security learning environments in Kuopio.
  • In addition, the Karelia Air Wing, a unit of the Finnish Air Force in Siilinjärvi, trains conscripts, reservists and active duty personnel, monitors the airspace, prevents intrusions into the airspace and develops the readiness and capabilities of the unit.
