North Savo offers a comprehensive range of events from culture to sports and from student events to business. Especially the smaller events in the region offer interesting places to connect and network with experts in different industries.
Business and talent networking events
Interesting networking events in the area include the Tahko Ski Lift Pitch (Tahko SLP) and Synty.
Tahko SLP is the most important international startup event in Eastern Finland, where growth-oriented startups, R2B teams, students, business influencers and investors shake hands on glamorous deals. Each year, the event brings together around 50 angel and venture capital investors, nearly 100 startups and more than 300 business visitors. Around 100 vocational school, UAS and university students from North Savo also take part. There are plenty of opportunities for networking with people from different industries at the event.
Synty is a business event where the focus is on current themes and networking.
Several actors in the region regularly organise networking events that are open to all.
